APEMC is offering services like i) proper tracking and scrutiny of hazardous waste being
transported till it reaches the designated disposal facility and also ii) a SOP was
developed
for verifying the marine discharge which includes automation of sample collection, analysis,
approval for discharge and effective monitoring of marine outfall industries for the
disposal of
industrial effluents into the sea.
The Corporation will employ a robust platform business model for creating economic value for
the
waste by facilitating exchange between group of consumers, producers and transporters of
waste,
with a network of users and resources that can be accessed on-demand.
The platform will be designed to optimize the efficiency in waste management by eliminating
the
existing inefficiencies thereby, creating a win-win situation for all the stakeholders
involved
All the wastes generated will be under the purview of the Corporation irrespective of
whether it
is “Economic Good” or “Economic Bad”
The Corporation will promote new businesses to provide for additional facilities
(transporters,
CETPs, Processors, TSDFs etc) when the existing capacity is full or not enough. It will
facilitate & promote new enterprises, encourage setting up new facilities in private sector
/
joint venture/ PPP mode, as feasible in APIIC area and other areas, as and when required
